Biometric Access Control and Wi-Fi Networking for Bridgeon Media School

Bridgeon Media School needed dependable access management and wireless connectivity to support its daily activities as an educational institution and media training environment.

The key requirements were:

• Implement biometric access control using eSSL technology.

• Support controlled access to designated areas.

• Provide Wi-Fi connectivity using NETGEAR networking equipment.

• Establish a practical networking solution for everyday use.

• Deliver technology infrastructure suited to the institution's operational requirements.

Molvbo delivered two solutions in one project: biometric access control for entry management and a wireless network for everyday connectivity.

1. eSSL biometric access control system

We implemented an eSSL biometric access control solution to support access management at Bridgeon Media School.

Biometric access control verifies users against registered credentials and manages entry according to the system's configuration. It gives a structured approach to controlling access to designated areas and can reduce dependence on traditional physical keys where the installed system supports it.

• Biometric-based user verification.

• Controlled access to designated areas.

• Improved management of authorised users.

• Support for more organised access administration.

The available verification methods and access management features depend on the installed eSSL device and configuration.

2. NETGEAR Wi-Fi networking

We provided a Wi-Fi networking solution using NETGEAR equipment to support wireless connectivity across the required areas of the institution.

A properly planned wireless network lets users connect compatible devices and reach permitted network resources without needing a physical network connection at every workstation.

• Convenient wireless connectivity for compatible devices.

• Flexible access to network resources.

• Support for everyday internet and network usage.

• A networking foundation that can be expanded to meet coverage and capacity requirements.

Network performance depends on the equipment model, internet connection, building layout, user density and final configuration.

Bridgeon Media School now has an eSSL biometric access control solution and NETGEAR Wi-Fi networking infrastructure, supporting both its access management and wireless connectivity requirements.

• Improved access management: eSSL biometric technology supports verification of registered users.

• Organised entry control: access permissions can be managed according to the installed system configuration.

• Flexible wireless connectivity: NETGEAR networking equipment supports convenient connections for compatible devices.

• Operational convenience: access management and wireless networking support everyday institutional activities.

• Practical IT infrastructure: important access and connectivity requirements are addressed within one project.

The installation reflects Molvbo's commitment to reliable biometric security and networking solutions for educational institutions and commercial environments.
