In short: An intruder alarm uses sensors and a siren to warn of a break-in. We plan and install alarm systems for shops, homes, offices and godowns in Kozhikode, Wayanad, Malappuram and Kannur. Alert options depend on the panel you choose, and we confirm them before you buy.

A burglar alarm (also called an intruder alarm) watches your premises when you are away. If someone opens a protected door or window, or moves inside while the alarm is switched on, it sounds a siren and, depending on the system, alerts the people you choose. CCTV records what happened; an alarm reacts as it happens, so the two work well together. We install alarm systems for shops, homes, offices, jewellery and finance businesses, and godowns in Kozhikode, Wayanad, Malappuram and Kannur.

What an alarm system includes

  • Control panel: the main unit that manages the system. Most panels have a backup battery for power cuts.

  • Keypad or remote: to switch the alarm on (arm) and off (disarm).

  • Door and window sensors: detect when a protected door or window is opened.

  • Motion sensors: detect movement inside a room or area.

  • Siren: indoors, outdoors, or both.

  • Alerts: some panels can also alert you on your phone. Alert options differ between models, so we confirm exactly what the panel you choose supports.

Planning the system

  • Entry points: which doors, shutters and windows need sensors.

  • Areas inside: where motion sensors are needed, for example the cash counter, stock room or office.

  • Zones: parts of the premises can be armed separately, such as the shop at night while the upstairs home stays in use.

  • False alarms: pets, fans, curtains and direct sunlight can set off some sensors. Choosing and placing sensors carefully reduces this.

  • Who responds: decide who should be contacted and who will respond when the alarm goes off. We confirm which alert options your chosen panel offers.

How a project works

  1. Free site survey: we walk the premises and mark entry points and areas to protect.

  2. Quotation: covering the panel, sensors, siren, keypad or remote, cabling and labour.

  3. Installation: sensors, siren and panel fitted and connected.

  4. Setup: zones, user codes and any alert settings the panel supports.

  5. Testing and handover: we test each sensor, the siren and arming and disarming, and show you how to use the system.

Repairs and existing alarms

If your alarm keeps going off for no reason, a sensor has stopped working, or the panel shows a fault, we can inspect it, including systems installed by other companies. We first check the panel model, sensors, wiring, battery and the fault. Whether it can be repaired depends on the equipment and parts availability; some older panels may need replacement.

What affects the cost

  • the number of doors, windows and areas to protect

  • wired or wireless sensors

  • indoor and outdoor sirens

  • the alert options, which depend on the panel

What to tell us

  • the type of premises and its location

  • the doors, shutters and windows you want protected

  • whether pets or people stay inside when the alarm is on

  • who should receive alerts

Alarm Systems FAQs

CCTV records what happens so you can see it live or later. An alarm detects a break-in and reacts straight away with a siren and alerts. Many shops and homes use both.
Most alarm panels have a backup battery that keeps them working during a power cut. How long it lasts depends on the panel and battery.
It depends on the model. Most alarms are switched on and off with a keypad or remote; phone control is available only on some panels and needs internet at the site. We confirm what your chosen panel supports.
It can, with ordinary motion sensors. Careful placement, and sensors designed to ignore small pets on some systems, reduce this. Tell us about pets during the survey.
The alarm sounds the siren. If your panel supports phone alerts, it can also alert the contacts you set up. You decide who responds, so plan this before the system goes live.
Yes, we inspect it first. Repair depends on the panel model, the fault and parts availability; some older panels may need replacement.
Yes. After the survey, we send a quotation.

After Installation

We test every installation with you and show you how to use it before handover. For faults, get technical support, including for systems installed by others. Annual maintenance contracts are available for CCTV, network and attendance systems.
