The Requirement

Bridgeway Motors runs a busy Mercedes-Benz showroom on Kannur Road (NH 17), West Hill, Kozhikode. Vehicles wait in covered parking bays and an open yard on the premises.

The dealership wanted two things. First, a dependable way to record staff attendance. Second, clear camera coverage of the areas where vehicles are parked.

For attendance, management asked for a face recognition attendance system in Calicut that staff could use in seconds. It had to keep reliable records without extra admin work. For security, they needed CCTV that authorised staff could watch live and review later.

The key requirements were:

  • Streamline employee attendance through face recognition.

  • Give staff fast, convenient identity verification at check-in.

  • Keep reliable attendance records and logs.

  • Monitor the vehicle parking and yard areas with CCTV.

  • Fit a busy dealership's daily routine without slowing staff down.

Solution & Implementation

Molvbo Technologies planned the two systems together, so attendance and surveillance work side by side. Both use Matrix hardware.

Matrix face recognition attendance system

We installed the Matrix ARGO FACE 200 T face attendance terminal. Staff look at the screen, the device recognises their face, and it logs the time. It combines facial recognition with a touchscreen and large on-board storage.

Face check-in suits a dealership floor. Staff do not need to carry a card or remember a PIN to mark attendance. Each person is enrolled once on the terminal. After that, the 2 MP camera captures their face at check-in and matches it against the stored profiles. Every match becomes a time-stamped record in the attendance software, ready for payroll and HR review.

Key specifications of the supplied terminal:

  • Recognition: face recognition and reader functionality.

  • Profile capacity: up to 50,000 profiles.

  • Face template capacity: up to 200,000 templates.

  • Log capacity: up to 500,000 records.

  • Display: 3.5-inch IPS touchscreen with Gorilla Glass.

  • Camera: 2 MP surveillance-grade camera.

  • Protection: IP65 and IK08 rated.

  • Connectivity and power: PoE and power support, as specified for this configuration.

  • Attendance software: licensed for up to 250 users.

This face recognition attendance system in Calicut gives the dealership plenty of headroom. The software covers up to 250 users, and the terminal stores up to 500,000 attendance logs.

The supplied configuration is without Wi-Fi and without access-control functionality. The project scope covers the configured attendance solution.

Matrix CCTV surveillance system

Alongside the attendance terminal, we carried out a CCTV installation in Kozhikode using Matrix bullet cameras. The cameras record to a Matrix NVR.

We mounted cameras on the parking shed structure and on the yard walls. Weatherproof junction boxes protect each cable termination outdoors. Paired cameras on a single bracket watch two sides of the yard at once.

Authorised staff can view all cameras live on the NVR screen. They can also review recorded footage when they need to check an incident.

The Result

Bridgeway Motors now runs a modern face recognition attendance system in Calicut alongside Matrix CCTV surveillance. One system handles staff attendance. The other keeps watch over the vehicle stock.

  • Simpler attendance: face recognition gives staff a quick, convenient check-in.

  • Efficient record keeping: high-capacity log storage supports attendance management.

  • Better security visibility: CCTV covers the parking and yard areas where vehicles wait.

  • Durable hardware: the attendance terminal carries IP65 and IK08 ratings.

  • Central administration: the attendance software supports up to 250 users.

  • Joined-up planning: attendance and surveillance meet two everyday needs together.

Actual results depend on the final configuration, installation environment and software setup.
